Sara values client relationships and constantly seeks to make sure that all clients feel heard and valued. Always eager to go the extra mile to answer client questions, she believes, “ Too often in business, we speak in jargon. It’s important within communication to strive to be understood and not bury words in professional lingo.”

Her training in Architectural History has helped Sara in her career within the financial industry. She has found that financial planning is not dissimilar to architectural planning because in both industries the plans must be tailored to fit the clients needs. At Granite Financial Partners, Sara utilizes her unique background and broad experiences to support the team and create plans catered to individual client’s needs.

Sara received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design with a specialization in Architectural History from the University of Oklahoma. After graduating, she worked at a design firm before transitioning to her role as the office manager for Fairhurst and Cohen Tax Services. She has found a passion for financial services and is currently studying to be a chartered financial consultant.

Outside of her commitment to supporting clients at Granite Financial Partners, Sara loves to spend time with her husband and her daughter. Giving back to her community is one her top values, which she does by volunteering as a youth leader at her church. She is also a published children’s author and accomplished fine artist.
